Just emailing to let you know that we had a fantastic time in China. Everything went very smoothly, our guides and drivers were really great, and the itinerary was perfect. We particularly want to ask you to send a thank you to the guide we had in Pingyao - Lee Anne. She was just superb and looked after us so well. Unfortunately we did not have time to say goodbye and say thank you properly as we were rushing to board the train.

Just one thing you might want to bare in mind for other trips - our guide in Hangzhou, Bing, recommended the show on at the West Lake, and so we went, and it was fantastic.

Thank you for your help with organising such a brilliant holiday.

Dear China Holidays,

My wife & I safely returned home from our trip to Australia & China.

We enjoyed our time in China very much and compliment you that all the arrangements worked well.

Our guide in Beijing, Nikki, was outstanding in her knowledge, her friendly manner and her care for our well-being. It was impressive to see so much in the time available.

The Warriors in Xi'an are not to be missed. Afterwards we opted to follow the Dumpling Banquet dinner by paying to see the Culture Show in the same place. It was good to have the opportunity to speak to other travellers and we had a very pleasant evening. You might consider including the Show in your itinerary.

The hotel at Guilin was the best of all. After the cities, it was good to enjoy the countryside and scenery during the Li River Cruise. There are many other attractions in this area, and if we return to China one day, we might explore this region more.

Shanghai is a very busy city. The museum is good and the Jade Buddha Temple. It was more relaxing in Suzhou visiting the gardens and on the canal. We wished to see the Bund, and our guide recommended the evening cruise to see the lights. This was most impressive, reminiscent of Hong Kong, but with the advantage of more modern buidings and features. The historical 'European' part was also of interest. You might consider this cruise as part of your tour.

We both enjoyed very much the 'Legend of Kung Fu' show at the Red Theatre, Beijing. We regret we did not take the opportunity to purchase the video of the show at the theatre afterwards. Is there any way of doing this now, either online or by another means?
