Dear Chinaholidays,

We had a wonderful time in China and we could not have had this trip without all the wonderful people who drove us to all the wonderful excursions and transportation to and from the airport. We absolutely adored Sugar. She was so full of life and told many wonderful stories. She was funny and amusing, very very knowledgeable about everything. Did a wonderful job of explaining everything and translating. Sugar is a fabulous ambassador for your company and your country.

  • Tour Itinerary: 8 Days China Panda Tour to Beijing, Xian and Chengdu

First of all, all were excellent - reliable, always on time, drivers safe, guides tried their best to provide a good experience and teach us about the culture. All provided excellent suggestions for restaurants。

The driver in Chengdu was outstanding - he drove a LONG ways and was very careful and always pleasant.
The driver in Beijing - also very good - careful, very experienced, very nice and particularly respectful.
The driver in Xi'an was also very good - but a bit aggressive in driving style - but also very experienced and careful.

The guides:

Jack in Chengdu was particularly exceptional -- he provided us with excellent suggestions for activities etc -- for example, we had not considered the Sichuan opera - and he suggested we go and it was outstanding! He also worked hard to arrange our panda experience with very little notice. We particularly appreciated how flexible he was -- my son decided he wanted to see the monkeys at Mount Emai quite late in the afternoon - and Jack did not look at all dismayed - he just made it happen - and my son was so happy. This was very important to us.

Linda in Xi'an was outstanding in terms of teaching us about the culture - we really learned the most from Linda - she was always teaching us and really made an effort to make sure we understood and appreciated the history -- we really appreciated this a lot. She also tried to save us money wherever possible - this was helpful to use in some respects (and she did save us a lot of money by getting our kids the children's rate on most attractions!)

Overall - we had a wonderful experience in all the cities -- very reliable service, very knowledgeable guides.

Thanks again for your help.

  • Tour Itinerary: 5 Days Pilgrimage Tour to Datong and Wutaishan

Our guide in the trip Mr. Zhou is resourceful, versatile and has a good heart to help the pilgrims.  Without his thinking cap, we couldn't visit Xi Tian Dong.
The driver China Holidays arranged for us is only person driving all the way of the pilgrimage.  He is a good person at heart. I could see that. The coach is fine and the driver made a good job out of it.
China Holidays earned up its reputation by successfully completed a difficult tour to Wutaishan of 40 participants ranging from the age of 8 years old to 80 over years old and climbing up mountains at the same time. I'll recommend it to others for those who are going to places in Beijing, around Beijing and Wutaishan.
