Dear China Holidays
My son Chris and I loved the bike tour we took with Emma on Friday. She was a charming guide who made us feel very welcome in Beijing.
I will recommend your services to any of my friends who visit Beijing.

Dear China Holidays,
We arrived back from our holiday in China yesterday. We had a lovely time and saw many places. We rode horses (on our own!) around Karakul Lake (20 KM) which is 9,000 feet high and up to the high Alpine pastures around Heavenly Lake (Tianchi) which is 7-8000 feet high. Both of the lakes are surrounded by snow covered mountains but Tianchi is the prettiest with green coloured water and beautiful waterfalls falling down the side of the mountain. We walked on the Great Wall of China from Jinshaling to Simitai which took 4 hours and was very tiring and for two days on the high route along Tiger Leaping Gorge. We rode camels into the Gobi desert and walked in the fort at the end of the Great Wall, all surrounded by snow covered mountains. It was tiring because we travelled such great distances, flying and by overnight train but it was the only way we could see everything, ancient cities from past civilisations, old famous tombs, some with beautiful paintings over 1,800 years old but look as if they were painted yesterday. Also mummified bodies of people long dead who although they are buried in what is now China look more like Europeans. The guide said they have big noses like me! Our guides were generally great, efficient and friendly.
Everything went smoothly according to plan and on the only occasion when a local agency tried to change the itinerary a little which we didn't agree with someone from China Holidays (I don't know how they found out!) phoned the guide and asked to speak to me to make sure the itinerary was adhered to. We were very impressed with the way Beijing tracked us in China to make sure we were okay.|
Anyway you are welcome to quote us as very satisfied clients and thank you for all the effort you and your team put into making this holiday such a success.

To China Holidays,
Nancy was an excellent, caring guide who really did inform us and looked after us throughout out trip in China. Her knowledge of Beijing was excellent. Nancy made every effort to make sure our group were comfortable, prepared and enjoying the holiday. She was ever ready to give advice, answer questions or arrange things for any of us. We would be happy to take any tour with her again.
The overall trip was a wonderful experience for us and we had a very happy, exciting holiday. We saw plenty and felt very comfortable in Nancy's care and well informed by her and all the local guides. We would definitely consider booking with China Holidays again.
The Beijing Hotel was excellent, the room and breakfast, and felt this was the best. The hotel in Xian and Shanghai were equally as good although the choice of breakfast in Shanghai was more limited for the European taste. The hotel at Guilin was very comfortable but we found the room size a little small. However, this was the best situated and so we were happy to be there.
We felt all the local guides (Candy, Xian, Michael, Guilin and Eric, Shanghai) were friendly, fun, very informative and willing to answer questions.
We also enjoyed the vast variety of food. It all seemed excellent quality. The Huatong(Beijing) home cooked family meal was extremely good, but the duck menu was our least favourite.
