The First Pier and Grand Canyon
The First Pier and Grand Canyon, also called Laihe Dun, is the southernmost of west Great Wall Jiayuguan. It is the west of Hexi Corridor, Gansu Province. It is the west starting point of Ming Great Wall.
Now, this pier residual about 10 meters height, the bottom with irregular square and 14m wide. It is square inside with length and width of 6 meters. "Great first pier" inscription was inscribed by deceased West Army generals Wei Chuantong, writing.
With the development of tourist attractions, The First Pier and the Grand Canyon become a good place for tourist, adventure, recreation, entertainment ect.
