Guangfu Town is located 20km northeast of Handan City of Hebei Province. The town has a history of over 2600 years and has been listed as Key Relic Protection Unit of China. Its city wall was firstly built in Yuan Dynasty, dating back to 800 years ago and has maintained well, thus attracting many visitors from all over the world. Known as "A Forgotten Ancient Town", Guangfu's popularity has grown in recent years. Out of east gate of Guangfu, there is an old bridge namely Tongji Bridge and it is said to be the sister bridge of famous Zhaozhou Bridge who are the oldest existing one-arch stone bridges having a history of over 1400 years. In the meantime, Guangfu is the birth place of Yang Style Taichi and Wu Style Taichi and has made a big contribution to the development of Taichi boxing in the past years.
The city wall of Guangfu is 4.5 kilometres long, 8 metres wide and 12 metres high. It has 4 city gates and in each corner, there are watch towers. Out of the city wall, you can see a big area of wetland which is the 3rd largest in Hebei province and it features picturesque scenery throughout the year.
