I had known nothing about Xishuangbanna before I went there but an impression of an legendary place located in Yunnan province.
When we arrived at Xishuangban, it was already evening. We decided to visit Dai Park first.
The Xishuangbanna Dai Park is a residential area of Dai. The Dai Park consists of many villages, which connected together without clear boundaries. All villages were covered with bushes and trees. When I look into the distance from a pavilion built on the hill, the Myanmar temple and the livid roof of bamboo houses jumped into my sight immediately.
As a matter of fact, Dai Park is a circle of several concentrated villages. There aretotally five villages. They are Manjiang, Manchunman, Manzha, Manting, Manga. The tour guide told us that bamboo house with more woods were richer. But we didn’t visit them.then the guide led us to the site for splashing water. Employees all in Dai costume. We also our clothes and joined in. We got all wet after a while of haphazard splashing. After we got tired, we came to watch Dai dance. Dancers were also in their costume. There was a bonfire party in the square, but we had to leave for fear that missing the bus.
