Chinese holiday blog - Welcome to our brand new weblog, from China Holidays and it will include news and information of interest to anyone who wants to know more, if they are a business person or a tourist. It is our hope that clients will 'post' their thoughts and indeed questions . We will encourage all our clients who have traveller with us to post a report about their holiday . we will permit good and bad comments to be posted and hope that the blog build up to become a very useful resource for future client looking to find out about the real China . We have always aimed to give our clients a first class travel with emphasis placed on the quality of sightseeing programs, accommodation, meals and the standard of the services. Many of our passengers consider that their travel will be a holiday of a lifetime but we have often found that our clients have enjoyed the experience so much that they have returned few years later. China is an intriguing mixture of history, legend and a modern state which, at sometime in life, is an absolutely must for every traveller. In the last 12 months we have seen considerable changes in the type of enquiries we are receiving. Constant news reports about country's latest ‘biggest’, ‘largest’ or ‘fastest’ are leading clients to ask for an ever widening range of tours. Also, many people have travelled either with us before or with other tour operators during the last 15 years or so, and they now want to visit an area away from the headline attractions. Also many of our clients travel on business and they take the opportunity to take a few days exploring the areas of country in which they are doing business. Over the years we have received many lovely photographs and letters of thanks from returning clients. During this coming year we will add a blog to our web site to enable clients to ‘post’ their comments. Also, we will run an annual photographic competition. We will ask our clients, upon their return, to submit their best photographs to us so that we can publish them on our web site. We like to say we are experts in all things Chinese. We have Chinese staff who have led tours themselves and we endeavour to arrange for all of our senior staff to visit this country at least once a year to ensure that their knowledge is right up to date. We hope that you will gain the impression from our web site that we have a very clear idea of what our passengers are looking for from their China travel but also we are VERY happy to listen to ANY suggestions that you may have to any of the itineraries. We are also developing some specialist tours and again would welcome hearing from anybody wishing to partake in one of these specialist tours so we can tailor make a tour. It is one of the greatest holiday experiences in the world. The country is genuinely unique. Its customs, culture, architecture, dress and landscapes are excitingly and refreshingly different to anywhere else. It also offers a true sense of exploration because there is just so much to be seen and, fortunately, so little that has been turned into a typical tourist trail. It is said that the tourist who visits this country becomes a traveller. |
