Jiujiang and Lu Shan are famous for their fish dishes. Xunyang yuyan is a set of dishes all made from fish and shrimp, not only delicious they're also works of art. Baijiao yongyutou is a traditional Jiujiang stew that's made with 5kg fish head. Give Lu Shan's "three stones" a try. It's made with "stone ears," a type of mushroom; "stone fish," a fish that's only found in Lu Shan's springs and "stone chicken," a kind of frog. Other local delicacies include xiushui shaozi, a big steam bun shaped like a peach and filled with meat and vegetables and luobo pa, which is made from radish. |
