Transportation

Airport – The airport is 36km and about 40 minutes from the city center. Taking a taxi will cost as much as RMB 150.

Bus – Buses leaving for Shanghai take about 4 hours, and to Suzhou is about 2.5 hours. The Zhongyang Men Bus Station is close to the train station in the north of the city.

Taxi – Taxis in Nanjing are very cheap, within the city walls it should cost under RMB 10, going to the Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum from the city center is about RMB 20. Flag-fall is RMB 7.

Train –Nanjing is on the express route between Beijing and Shanghai. It’s a 3-hour ride to Shanghai while Beijing can be reached in 11 hours.
