Transportation

Airport – The closest airport is at Jinan, the provincial capital, about 180km away. The trip will take about 90 minutes. Shuttle buses to Qufu are available at the airport.

Taxi – Taxis in Qufu come in two varieties, cars and vans. Both start at RMB 5. Vans are RMB 1 per kilometer while cars are RMB 1.5 per kilometer. Some of the taxis don't have meters, so it's necessary to negotiate a price with the driver. Pedi-cabs charge anywhere from RMB 3 to 5 depending on the destination. Unique to Qufu are horse drawn carriages that charge RMB 20 per person.
