Transportation

Airport – Gaoqi Airport is only 12km northeast of Xiamen. A taxi costs about RMB 30 from the airport to the city. Xiamen is well connected with domestic flights and has international flights, many to Southeast Asia.

Bicycle –Tandem bicycles are available for rent at RMB 20 for 30 minutes and RMB 5 for each additional 30 minutes. Bikes for three are also available. Bike rental stations can be found around Huandao Lu Taiyang Wan.

Ferry –The ferry from Xiamen to Gulangyu starts from6amto 11pm. There's a ferry every a few minutes, it's RMB 3 for the return trip from Gulangyu, it's free to get there, but you have to pay to get back.

Taxi – Flag-fall is RMB 8.
