Testimonials

Dear China Holidays:

My wife & I safely returned home from our trip to Australia & China.
We enjoyed our time in China very much and compliment you that all the arrangements worked well.
Our guide in Beijing, Nikki, was outstanding in her knowledge, her friendly manner and her care for our well-being. It was impressive to see so much in the time available. .......

Yangtze Cruises Tips

WEATHER INFORMATION
Chongqing and Wuhan are known traditionally as the "furnaces of China". Between April and September, the temperature in the Yangzi River valley reaches 36 Celsius (97oF) and above. Spring and autumn are therefore the best time to make the river cruises. However, with the tall mountains and gorges through which the river threads its path, precipitation is very high and the peaks are often shrouded in cloud and mist, although a light haze can enhance the beauty of the scenery.

CLOTHING SUGGESTIONS
Casual resort wear is appropriate for daytime aboard ship or ashore and consists of standard sport outfits as worn at resorts. Shoes should be flat or low heeled for deck activities. On Captain's Welcome Dinner which will take place on second day on board, suit and tie for gentlemen and dresses and pantsuits for ladies are recommended.

ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES
The power points on board ship are for 220 volts AC, 2 round pin plug. Please make sure that you have a suitable adapter. In each cabin, a hair dryer is provided inside the dressing table. The on board video system is compatible to both PAL and NTSC format.

MINORS AND CHILD CARE
Minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or other responsible adult over the age of 21. A baby-sitter can be arranged on board through Housekeeping. However, child care is not included in your cruise fare.

PETS
Pets are not allowed on any cruise ship.

PORT/SHORE EXCURSION CHARGES
Port and Shore excursion charges are indicated separately in the cruise information item.

VALUABLES
Your cabin is equipped with a personal safe. China Holidays Group and the ship are not responsible for any articles such as money, jewelry, cameras, binoculars, documents or any other items which you retain in your personal control or in your cabin.

WHEEL CHAIRS
Passengers with wheelchairs must notify your travel advisor of chinaholidays.com at the time of booking with sufficient information as to the size and other applicable characteristics of their wheel chairs to insure that the booked cabin is suitable for wheelchair entry. Conditions may preclude passengers with wheelchairs from going ashore at certain ports of call.
