Introduction

The Yak Hotel is A famous hotel in the heart of the city of Lhasa in Tibet in China. It is only a five minute walk from Tibet��s holiest temple, the Jokhang, Ramoche monastery, and the Barkhor street.


The hotel was officially opened in April 1986 and has received an average of over 6000guests a year. It has 62 rooms and 185 beds, with standard, medium and deluxe rooms, and hot water available 24hous a day.


Services that are also offered include: (1)a car park; (2)room service; (3)car and bicycle rentals and; (4) a business centre which includes an IDD and Fax line, a banking counter, etc.


The hotels�� restaurant is located to the left of the front gate of the hotel. It serves excellent Tibetan and Chinese cuisine. It is one of the best and most well known.
