Day 01 London/Beijing
Depart on the overnight flight to Beijing from London Heathrow.
Day 02 Beijing
Arrive in Beijing, where you will be met and transferred to the hotel for three nights stay. Afternoon at leisure to overcome jetlag.
Day 03 Beijing
Full day tour to the magnificent Great Wall at Badaling and the Ming Tombs and Sacred Road. Peking Duck dinner has been arranged.
Day 04 Beijing
Day tour to the Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Panda Hall and Summer Palace. Enjoy an evening of Traditional Chinese culture with the Beijing Opera.
Day 05 Beijing/Xian
Taking the Hutong tour by rickshaw you start to see real life in China, we will visit a local Kindergarten. Followed by learning how to make dumplings and lunch with a local family. A visit to the Temple of Heaven in the afternoon, followed by a transfer to the airport for the flight to the Ancient city of Xi'an. Two nights in Xian.
Day 06 Xian
Day tour to China's most important archeological discovery - the life-size and lifelike Terracotta Warriors, the old imperial bathhouse of the Huaqing Hot Springs and the Great Mosque and Muslim Quarter. Dumpling Banquet dinner has been arranged tonight.
Day 07 Xian/Guilin
Morning tour to the City Wall and the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, with an afternoon flight to the Limestone Mountain region city of Guilin. Two nights will be spent in Guilin.
Day 08 Guilin
Half day Li River Cruise. The 45 mile journey to Yangshou glides through a landscape of the natural beauty including mist shrouded crags and bamboo groves which inspired painters and poets for many centuries. In the afternoon, you can choose to hire a bicycle and enjoy the fantastic scenery and watch the locals as they tend the fields or shop in the market and then relax in one of the many cafes soaking up the local atmosphere.
Day 09 Guilin/Shanghai
Half day tour includes the Reed Flute Cave and Fubo Hill for an picturesque view of the city and countryside. Take the flight to the cosmopolitan city of Shanghai. Three nights will be spent in Shanghai.
Day 10 Shanghai
Morning tour to the Shanghai Museum, visit Yu Garden, Old Town and Jade Buddha Temple in the afternoon. Evening Acrobatic Show has been arranged.
Day 11 Shanghai
Coach journey to the beautiful city of Suzhou, which is famous for its gardens. Visit the Humble Administrators Garden and Fish Net Garden, then go for a short cruise on the Grand Canal. Transfer back to Shanghai in the evening.
Day 12 Shanghai/London
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Heathrow Arrive in London on the same afternoon. |
