Day 01 London/Beijing
Depart on the overnight flight to Beijing from London Heathrow.
Day 02 Beijing
Arrive in Beijing, where you will be met and transferred to the hotel for four nights stay.
Day 03 Beijing
Full day tour to the magnificent Great Wall at Badaling, the Ming Tombs and Sacred Road. Peking Duck Dinner has been arranged.
Day 04 Beijing
Day tour to Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, Panda Hall and the Summer Palace. Enjoy an evening of Traditional Chinese culture with the
Beijing Opera.
Day 05 Beijing
Visit the Temple of Heaven in the morning. Afternoon at leisure.
Day 06 Beijing/Xi'an
Taking the Hutong tour by rickshaw you start to see real life in China, we will visit a local Kindergarten. Followed by learning how to make
dumplings and lunch with a local family. Transfer to the airport in the afternoon for the flight to the
Ancient city of Xi’an. Two nights stay in Xi’an.
Day 07 Xi'an
Day tour to China’s most important archaeological discovery – the life-size and lifelike Terracotta Warriors, the old imperial bathhouse of the Huaqing Hot Springs and the Great Mosque and Muslim Quarter. Dumpling Banquet dinner has been arranged for tonight.
Day 08 Xi'an/Shanghai
Morning tour visit the City Wall and the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Take the afternoon flight to the cosmopolitan city of Shanghai. On arrival, visit the Bund. Two nights will be spent in Shanghai.
Day 09 Shanghai
Morning tour to the Shanghai Museum, visit Yu Garden, Old Town and Jade Buddha Temple in the afternoon. Evening Acrobatic Show has been arranged.
Day 10 Shanghai/ Yichang/ Cruising
Morning at leisure in Shanghai. Transfer to the airport for the flight to Yichang. On board Victoria Cruises for four nights cruising to Chongqing.
Day 11 Cruising
Morning visit the Three Gorges Dam. Sailing through the Three Gorges Shiplocks, sailing through Xiling Gorge.
Day 12 Cruising
Sailing through Wu Gorge, excursion to the Lesser Gorges, sailing through Qutang Gorge.
Day 13 Cruising
Shore excursion to Fengdu or Wanxian.
Day 14 Chongqing/Guilin
Arrive in Chongqing. Transfer to the airport for the flight to the Limestone Mountain Region city of Guilin. Two nights stay in Guilin.
Day 15 Guilin
Half day Li River Cruise. The 45 mile journey to Yangshuo glides through a landscape of natural beauty including mist shrouded crags and bamboo groves whish inspired painters and poets for many centuries.
Day 16 Guilin/Beijing
Morning at leisure, afternoon tour to the Reed Flute Cave and Fubo Hill. Evening flight back to Beijing.
Day 17 Beijing/London
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Heathrow with British Airways. Arrive in London on the same afternoon.
