Jinjiang Inn to launch CNY100 hotel brand

Xu Zurong, president of Jinjiang Inn, said that the company will launch a new brand pricing at CNY90 to CNY130 per room per night.

Xu told local media that the company has selected four domestic cities as pilot locations to open outlets under the new brand, including Shanghai, Ningbo, Wuhan and Nanchang.

The first batch of new outlets is scheduled to be launched by the end of 2008. At present, the average rate of all Jinjiang Inn hotels around China was between CNY150 and CNY200 per room per night, while the new brand priced at between CNY90 and CNY130 or about CNY140.

Jinjiang Inn owns more than 330 hotels in China, including over 220 opened hotels, and the company plans to reach a total of 600 by 2010 with 400 opened hotels.
