Itinerary

Situated in Anhui Province, Mt. Huangshan has 72 peaks formed by black granites, penetrating the earth or towering into the sky. Mt. Huangshan is especially known for its grotesque pine trees growing in the crevices of rocks and oddly-shaped rocks that emerge in the sea of clouds. In 1990, its was included in the World Heritage List.

Day 01 Arrive in Huangshan
You are warmly greeted at the airport/railway station and transferred to your hotel. The remains of the day is at leisure.

Day 02 Huangshan Mountain Tour
Morning transfer to Huangshan Scenic Area. Take cable car up the mountain and visit West Sea and North Sea areas. Enjoy the stunning views of odd-shaped pines, grotesque rocks, sea of clouds and hot spring. Stay overnight in the mountain top hotel. B/L
Accommodation: 4* North Sea Hotel

Day 03 Huangshan city
Morning free to explore the mountain. Descent down the mountain by cable car and drive to Tunxi, the political and commercial hub of Huangshan. Visit the Old Street. B/L
Accommodation: 5* International Hotel

Day 04 Hongcun and Xidi
Whole daytrip to the two villages in nearby Yixian county. Hongcun, having a history of over 1000 years, is an ox-shaped village famous for its idyllic beauty. Xidi, a village of more than 300 residences built in Ming and Qing Dynasties, is characterized with its architectural art of wood carving, stone carving and brick carving. Transfer to the airport for your onward flight. B/L

Hi, what's the best time to visit Huangshan Mountain? How can I get to Huangshan from Hangzhou? By train or by bus?

China Holidays

The weather is fine from April to November. You can get on a bus at Hangzhou West Bus Station and arrive at Huangshan about 3-4 hours later. No train operates between Hangzhou and Huangshan.
