Day 1 Arrival at Lhasa

Arrival at Lhasa Gonggar Airport (average elevation of 3686 meters). Our local guide and driver will transfer you to your hotel. Feel the height of the world roof and acclimatize the high altitude.

By Plane: 100km from the airport to the downtown Lhasa

By Train: 20mins driving from railway station to the downtown Lhasa

Day 2 Sightseeing in Lhasa (Drak Yerpa & Sera Monastery)

After breakfast, our guide and driver will pick up you from the hotel to the Drak Yerpa. Built on a hillside with 108 caves in the valley, the site had a powerful spiritual heritage. After lunch, visit the Sera Monastery located 5km north of Lhasa. The monastery was named Sera which means wild rose in the Tibetan language, because the hill behind it was covered with wild roses in bloom when the monastery was built.

Day 3 Potala Palace & Jokhang Temple

First of the day transfer to the Potala Palace. At an elevation of more than 3,700m, the13-story main portion of the palace rises 117m. Afternoon visit to the Jokhang Temple - the most celebrated temple and spiritual center in Tibet.

Day 4 Depart Lhasa

You will get transferred from the hotel to the airport or railway station for your onward flight or train. End of the service.
