Day 1:Beijing/Urumqi (L+D)
Take morning flight to Urumqi (capital city of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region). Transfer to hotel. After lunch excursion 70km southwest to one of the eight major deep valleys and passage ways along the whole Tianshan Mountain-called Nanshan Grassland, where we visit the minority families of Kazak and chat with them in their yurts while drink strong milk tea & home –made snacks.

Day 2: Urumqi (B+L+D)
We drive 120km northeast of Urumqi city to the Heavenly Lake natural scenic spot (one of the ten big natural scenic spots of China) with an elevation of 2000 meters above sea level. The beautiful lake is flanked by rugged pines and cypresses, with melted clear waters reflecting the surrounding of snow capped highest peak-Bogeda, the main peak of Heavenly Mountain, at elevation of 5445 meters, the peak is always regarded as Holy Mountain by all Turks, t0he genesis place of the nations. We cruise on the lake and take a golf car around the lake. Then we return back the city and visit the Provincial Museum to view the incredible mummies from over 2000 years ago tells us history unwritten on the book. If time available we visit the Red Hill Park (the symbol of Urumqi city) and then visit Grand Bazaar, which is believed to be the largest outdoor market in province.
Day 3: Urumqi/Turpan (B+L+D)
In the morning drive 2&half hours to southeast of Urumqi city to Turpan, on the way we will pass by Urumqi Wind Power Mill, which was built for producing electrical power. And then a village located at the foot of Heavenly Mountain ,which was a very prosperous caravan city called “Daban Cheng”, because from there caravans cross the Heavenly Mountain and the whole Gobi Desert without any villages & town in couple of month. After cross the Valley of Tianshan Mountain we can arrive the lowest depression of China-Turpan city. Turpan is a Uygur town set in a large oasis surrounding by desert and dry mountains. Upon arrival, we visit the mysterious death city-the ruins of Jiaohe, which reveals traces of a prosperous ancient trading center and military stronghold at 1600 years ago, used to be the most frontal barrier at the west for the dynasties. And then we visit Ancient Karez, the underground water supply & irrigation system and its museum. Turpan is famous throughout China for its big and sweet grapes and gourds, evening enjoy Uygur folklore show in the coutyard.

Day 4:Turpan/Urumqi/Kashgar (B+L+D)
Morning visit Sugong Tower ( the Emin Hoja minaret), The Flaming Mountain & Bezeklik Thousand Caves, the ancient city of Gaochang and have lunch at local restaurant. We drive back to Urumqi in the afternoon and take flight to Kashgar.

Day 5:Kashgar (B+L+D)
We visit Sunday Morning Muslims Pray, it is incredible that thousands of all Muslim kneel down on the streets and the squares facing to the mosque. Then visit the Sunday bazaar, which is the largest outdoor market in the Mid-Asia. We visit Etgar Mosque and the Apakhoja mausoleum, and the old town of Kashgar in the afternoon. The old town will bring you thousand years after back to a paramilitary age.
Day 6:Kashgar/Karakul Lake (B+L+D)
Bus tour through the Karakurum Highway to Karakul Lake, enjoy the beautiful snow –capped mountain of Muztagh Ata and the lake. Afternoon drive back to Kashgar and transfer to airport for flight to Urumqi.

Day 7:Transfer to airport for homeward. (B)
