Our English speaking guide will meet you at your hotel and transfter you to Badaling Great Wall. After a walk on the Wall, we move on to Changling of the Ming Tombs and a Cloisonne factory. Lunch is included and a Peking Duck dinner is arranged in the evening. L+D

Great Wall: The Great Wall, a symbol of Chinese civilization, was originally built to defend the country against Northern tribes. With all of its branches, the Wall stretches for 8,851.8 km (5,500.3 mi) - the world's longest defensive project. Only 70km away by superhighway, Badaling is the closest section of the Great Wall to Beijing and can be visited in half a day. Moreover, its proximity to the Ming Tombs means both sites can be seen in a single outing.

Ming Tombs: The tombs of 13 Ming Dynasty emperors and their consorts are scattered in a gorgeous valley 45 km northwest of Beijing. The site for the Ming Tombs was carefully chosen as the imperial cemetery according to the principle of Fengshui. Its harmony with surrounding area, its spectacular architecture and underground structures show the wisdom of ancient Chinese people.

Cloisonne Factory: Cloisonne, also named Chinese metal art, is one of the traditonal crafts in Beijing. Visit a local cloisonne factory, you will learn the process of cloisonne enameling.
