Day 01: Arrive in Beijing
Arrive in the capital city Beijing, where you are met at the airport by our professional English speaking guide and transferred to your hotel for 4 nights stay. The rest of the day is free to relax.
Accommodation: 4* Grand Mecure Hotel Xidan Beijing or the same class

Day 02: Beijing
Morning visit to Ti’ananmen Square and Forbidden City. This afternoon visit the strikingly magnificent Temple of Heaven. Enjoy an evening of Traditional Chinese Culture with the Legend of Kungfu show. B/L/D

Day 03: Beijing

Full day tour to the magnificent Great Wall at Badaling, the Changling of the Ming Tombs. B/L

Day 04: Beijing

Take a Hutong Tour by Rickshaw to see the real life in China, followed by how to make dumplings and lunch with a local family. In the afternoon we will visit the Panda Hall and the Summer Palace. Peking Opera show will be arranged tonight. B/L/D

Day 05: Beijing/Harbin

Take morning flight to Harbin for world's largest Ice and Snow Festival. Meet at the airport and transfer to visit the Snow Sculpture Exposition on the Sun Island. In the evening explore the wonderland Snow and Ice World. B/L/D

Accommodation: 4* Phoenix Hotel or same class

Day 06: Harbin

Visit the city center The Central Street, the Saint Sophia Church, watch local winter swimming activities. In the evening visit the Ice Lantern Gala in Zhaolin Park. B/L/D

Day 07: Harbin/Xian

Today fly from Harbin to ancient city Xian. Visit the treasure hourse Shaanxi History Museum and the Ancient City Wall. B/L

Accommodation: 4* Le Garden Hotel or same class

Day 08: Xian

Day tour to the most important archaeological discovery the life-size and lifelike Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum. Also visit the Great Mosque and Muslim quarter. B/L

Day 09: Xi’an/Shanghai

Transferred to the airport for you flight to the cosmopolitan city of Shanghai. B

Accommodation: 4* Lansheng Hotel or same class

Day 10: Shanghai

Visit the classical Yu Garden, and Shanghai Old Town. After lunch, visit the Jade Buddha Temple built in 1882 and housing the mesmerizing jade statue of Sakamuni, and the excellent Shanghai Museum. Evening Acrobatic Show will be arranged. B/L/D

Day 11: Depart Shanghai

After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for the flight to your next destination. B

What is the cost for two people and departure dates in early January 2012.

Am also considering an extra rest day in Xian & Shanghai.

Dear Michelle, Thank you so much for your enquiry. The cost for tour PT133 is USD 2706 or so per person based on sharing twin or double for a booking of 2 passengers travelling. This is a tour designed for tailor made departure, so you can choose any day in early January. If you would like to stay one more night in Xian, the hotel and breakfast cost is about $40 per person based on sharing twin/double.
