Itinerary

Day 1: Beijing-Hohhot
Pick up from your city center hotel and transfer to the airport for the flight to Hohhot, the capital city of Inner Mongolia. On arrival, you will be greeted by your local guide and transferred to hotel for overnight. Today the dinner is included.
Accommodation: 5*Jinjiang International Hotel

Day 2: Hohhot-Xilamuren Grassland

This morning you will have a city tour visiting Dazhao Monastery and the Old Street. After lunch, a 1.5 hours car journey will bring you to 90km away Xilamuren Grassland where you will spend a night in a Yurt guesthouse. You will enjoy the beautiful scenery of the grassland, the hospitality of herdsmen and the experience of horse racing, archery, wrestling, etc and visit a herdsman family. In the evening, enjoy the Mongolian tradition of Toast Ceremony before dinner and join in Bonfire Party afterwards. B/L/D

Accommodation: Yurt with private facility

Day 3: Xilamuren Grassland-Hohhot

Continue your trip in Xilamuren Grassland in the morning. Visit 800 year old Honger Aobao—the largest of its kind of the traditional Mongolian sacrificial site on the Grassland. Then visit a part of ruins of Great Wall which was built 1600 years ago. Transfer back to Hohhot in the afternoon. B/L/D

Accommodation: 5*Jinjiang International Hotel

Day 4: Hohhot-Beijing

Morning visit Inner Mongolia Provincial Museum. After lunch transfer to airport for departure flight back to Beijing. B/L
