Chinese New Year, also known as the Spring Festival, is the most important traditional Chinese festival. 2013 Chinese New Year falls on February 10, 2013. On this tour, you will experience the traditional customs during this festive occasion and take part in the celebrations.

February 07, 2013: Arrival at Beijing
Arrival at Beijing. You will be met by our English speaking tour guide at the airport and transferred to your hotel for 5 nights.

February 08, 2013: Beijing (L+D)
Morning tour to Tiananmen Square and Forbidden City. After lunch, visit the Temple of Heaven. A special Beijing duck dinner is arranged for this evening. After dinner learn more about Chinese culture with Kungfu Show.
February 09, 2013: Beijing (New Year's Eve) (L)
In the morning visit the Silk Market. After lunch, visit a local family and join them to prepare the coming of the New Year.
February 10, 2013: Beijing (First day of the New Year) (L+D)
In the morning you are going to visit a famous Beijing temple fair. You can enjoy folk performances, sample local snacks and shop for unique souvenirs. In the afternoon, take a hutong tour to explore Beijing's daily life.
February 11, 2013: Beijing (B+L)
After breakfast, take a tour to the Badaling Great Wall. In the afternoon visit the Summer Palace.
February 12, 2013: Beijing (B)
Transferred to the airport for your next destination or free on your own.
