Day 01 Arrive Beijing
On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. This afternoon is free to overcome any jetlag. Welcome dinner tonight. D
Accommodation: Foreign Students’ Guesthouse (Or the same class)
Day 02 Beijing
8:30-11:30 Half-day trip to Tian’anmen Square and the Forbidden City.
Lunch is in a local family in Hutong area.
13:00-17:00 We will learn how to make dumplings. Visit traditional residential area- Hutongs and Drum Tower in the afternoon. Dinner will be in a local restaurant. B/L/D
Day 03 Beijing
8:30-11:30 We will have a campus tour in a Chinese university.
Lunch will be in the university canteen.
13:00-17:00 We have an afternoon visit The Temple of Heaven where we will learn about Chinese calligraphy. Enjoy dinner at a local hotpot restaurant. B/L/D
Day 04 Beijing
8:30-17:00 Today we will visit the Great Wall at Mutianyu where we will fly kites on the wall. Lunch will be at a local farmer’s house in the Huairou District and dinner will be in the university canteen. B/L/D
Day 05 Beijing
8:30-11:30 This morning we will visit a local middle school where you have the chance to practice your Chinese and to kick shuttlecock with local students.
Lunch will be in a local restaurant.
13:00-17:00 Afternoon we will visit a silk factory to learn the knowledge of silk worm and the produce of silk products. Dinner at a local restaurant. B/L/D
19:00-20:30 Enjoy an acrobatic show in the evening.
Day 06 Beijing
8:30-11:30 We start the day with a trip to the Summer Palace Taichi Boxing class. Lunch will be at a local restaurant.
13:00-18:00 In the afternoon we are going to the Olympic Park for an exterior view of the Bird's Nest and Water Cube. Dinner will be at a local restaurant. B/L/D
Day 07 Beijing
8:30-11:30 This morning we will visit a Tea house for tea ceremony and learn knowledge about Chinese tea. Lunch will be in a local restaurant.
13:00-16:00 Afternoon visit a local market to practice your language skills whilst exploring the Chinese market.
17:00-19:00 The Closing ceremony will be held in the early evening. For dinner, you will experience the famous Beijing dish - Beijing Roast Duck Dinner. B/L/D
Day 08 Depart Beijing
You will be transferred to the airport for your own departure flight. B
