Our English speaking guide will pick you up at your hotel. Transfer to the railway station for the soft seat train to Chengde K7711 (08:05-12:31). Our Chengde tour guide will greet you at the railway station. After lunch, visit the Imperial Summer Villa (Mountain Resort).
Accommodation: 4* Yunshan Hotel (Or the same class)
Day 2: Chengde/Beijing (B/L)
Morning tour to Little Potala Palace and Universal Peace Temple. Transfer back to railway station for the train back to Beijing (soft seat) K7712 (13:53-18:19). Meet and transfer to your hotel.

Imperial Summer Villa: Head to Chengde to escape the city swelter. Chengde is a town that boasts the largest imperial summer retreat complex in China. Known as the Imperial Summer Villa, "escape the heat mountain villa," the park has been Chengde's main attraction since 1703. Set in a mountain valley and surrounded by an ancient wall, the parkland includes its own lake, pine forests, hunting ground and pavilions.
