Day 1: Arrive Beijing
Upon your arrival in Beijing, our English speaking guide will pick you up the airport and transfer you to hotel for 3 nights stay. The rest of the day is free for you to overcome jetlag.
Accommodation: 3 star Red Wall Hotel (Or the same class)
Day 2: Beijing (B+L+D)
Full day tour to Tiananmen Square - the largest city square throughout the world, the imperial residence Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven. A special Peking duck dinner is arranged for this evening.
Day 3: Beijing (B+L+D)
Morning excursion to Juyongguan Great Wall. After lunch, visit the Summer Palace which was the royal garden in the Qing Dynasty. In the evening learn more about Chinese culture with a Kungfu Show.
Day 4: Beijing/Xian (B+L)
Take morning flight to Xian. Visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda which dates back to the Tang Dynasty. Afternoon tour to the Ancient City Wall and the Bell Tower.
Accommodation in Xian: 3 star Melody Hotel (Or the same class)
Day 5: Xian (B+L+D)
Full day tour to the world-famous Terracotta Warriors and Horses, and the Banpo Neolithic Museum, a civilization of over 6,000 years old. In the evening enjoy the Tang Dynasty Show.
Day 6: Xian/Chengdu (B+L)
Take morning flight to Chengdu. Tour to the Panda Feeding Basement to visit pandas and experience local tea culture at a teahouse.
Accommodation in Chengdu: 3 star Shufeng Hotel (Or the same class)
Day 7: Chengdu/Lhasa (B+L)
Take morning flight to Lhasa. The rest of the day is at leisure for you to explore the city.
Accommodation in Lhasa: 3 star Jiqu Hotel (Or the same class)
Day 8: Lhasa (B+L)
Full day escorted tour to Potala Palace, Sera Monastery and Norbulingka. Potala Palace is the home of Dalai Lamas. Sera Monastery is one of the three largest monasteries in Tibet. Norbulingka is the summer residence of the Dalai Lama.
Day 9: Lhasa (B+L)
Morning tour to the Jokhang Temple which is the spiritual center of Tibet. Then move on to Drepung Monastery which was once the largest and wealthiest monastery in Tibet. In the afternoon, visit a Tibetan Clinic and the famous shopping street Barkhor Street.
Day 10: Lhasa/Shanghai (B)
Take flight to Shanghai. Transfer to hotel for 2 nights stay.
Accommodation: 3* New Asia Hotel (Or the same class)
Day 11: Shanghai (B+L)
Take a city tour around Shanghai. Morning tour to the classic Yu Garden which was built in 1559 in both Ming and Qing styles. Then visit the Shanghai Museum. After lunch, stroll along the Bund and visit the famous shopping street Nanjing Road.
Day 12: Shanghai (B)
Transfer to the airport for the flight back to your home country.

I am interested in traveling late May early june. I will be a solo traveler.
We are interested in this trip starting April 16th from Shanghai and ending up in Beijing. We have an event in Shanghai on April 15th.
Does this include air fare from the US (Washington, DC)?
Hi We have a group of 4 that want to do the PT112 tour leaving after 2pm on October 14th or early on October 15th 2011. We have 3 adults and one child ( 10 yrs old) We will need 2 rooms. We would lke a package that includes airfaire from Panama City Florida (ecp). Also excluding tips what other mandatory taxes, expenses will be encounter. IS the entire trip escorted? We do not care for the Kung Fu show or the Opera. Can something else be suggested?
