We have come back from a tailor made China Highlights Tour. It is a wonderful trip. From the first day that I sent enquiry letter till the last day of tour, I felt their working staff and guides very professional. Their knowledge about China is profound and it was a very warm feeling that there always are someone looking after you when being afar from home!!
I liked Beijing so much. I came to Beijing one day earlier than the rest of the group and spending the day in Houhai area. It was so enjoyable walking through Hutongs and watching the traditional corner of modern Beijing. People are so nice and patient when I asked them about the metro stations and other information. Besides, Beijing is a very tidy city, much cleaner than most western cities I have been to.
I have just come back from the trip. Yangshuo is fantastic. I liked the beautiful countryside there and to see the fisherman and cormorants going fishing
We went to Tang Dynasty show in Xian which is at the same location as the Dumpling Banquet. Very nice show and we really enjoyed it.
We are just back from China from a fantastic holiday. The Great Wall really blew me away, I couldn't believe I was actully standing on it! We went to Mutianyu section where is less touristy.
I am not interested in Peking Opera and Kungfu Show. Can you book a show place for me like the local people do? Thanks.
we do not like Suzhou, can you cancel trip to Suzhou for us, if we book our journey with you? Thank u!
Is this Friendship hotel the one near Zhong Guan Cun? Thought i had stayed there some 20 years ago, huge in area and elegant with beautiful Chinese gardens inside.
We just finished the itinerary, also enjoyed the vast variety of food. It all seemed excellent quality. The Huatong(Beijing) home cooked family meal was extremely good.
Nowadays in beijinng, art people talk lots about 798 Factory which is the premiere art distrct in China or even in whole Asia. Some top artists have their galleries in the area. You could find detailed info in their official website http://www.798art.org/about.html
The other one is China National Art Gallery (Meishuguan in Chinese) having exhibitions all year round. website: http://www.namoc.org/
Small art shops are also found in Liulichang and Panjiayuan areas.
I will probably spend one more day in Beijing and hope to see some art galleries. Where would you recommend? I would like to see them by myself. Thanks in advance.
Yes, the excavation work began on June 13, 2009. As the new dig site is also open to toursits, so visitors may see colorful warriors now.
I have heard that Terra Cotta Warriors Museum is going to excavate for the third time. Do you think we might see some colourful warriors soon?
Yes, I think the best time to visit these places is either in Spring or in Autumn. Maybe September/October are the best..
I chose this trip in May, it is really fantastic! Not so many people.
Yeah, I really enjoy this tour.
Beijing is a city of contrasts. When we get out of a quiet hutong, we found surpringly that we are on a noisy street.
Is also available in Xi'an
Yes, you can join the group from Xian. Please let us know your requirements, we are happy to arrange it for you.

This is exactly the tour I took two years ago. Most of my friends take these destinations as their first tour in China. Others choose Yunnan, Xinjiang....
