*Guilin Daytrip to Maozhou Island and Daxu Town

Route: Crown Cave-Maozhou Island-Daxu Town

Visit Crown Cave in the morning.  Crown Cave, 35 km away from Guilin, gets its name from the shape of the hill where it is located and is famous for the magnificent combination of the stalactites and stalagmites. Boat, train and lift ride will be unique ways to help you fully enjoy yourself here.

After the cave you will go to Maozhou, a small island on the Li River. Here you will enjoy a meal prepared by local farmer with various delicacies and experience the life on the island by picking up the fruit and crops and talking with the locals.

Crossing the river by a ferry you will arrive at Daxu, a small town built in the Ming Dynasty, featured with its ancient architecture. Here carvings on windows, path paved with limestone slates will bring you into the memory of ancient Chinese life.

Transfer back to Hotel later in the afternoon.
