Day 01: Arrival in Shanghai
Upon your arrival in Shanghai, English speaking guide of China Holidays will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to your hotel for overnight stay. The rest of the day is at leisure to overcome any jetlag.

Day 02: Shanghai/Victoria Cruise (B/D)
Half day at leisure to explore the metropolitan Shanghai by yourself. Embark on the 5 star luxury Victoria cruise ship around 5 pm and start your 9 days 8 nights cruise along the Yangtze River.
Accommodation: 5* Victoria Cruise ship

Day 03: Yangzte Cruise (B/L/D)
Full day shore excursion to Nanjing. Pay visit to Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum and the Qing Dynasty style bazaar surrounding the Coufucian Temple.

Day 04: Yangzte Cruise (B/L/D)
Full day shore excursion to Yellow Mountain. (Mt. Jiuhuashan instead if weather or road conditions don't permit a visit to Yellow Mountain)

Day 05: Yangzte Cruise (B/L/D)
Evening shore excursion to Wuhan. Visit the Hubei Provincial Museum or Rare Stone Museum, depending on the arrival time.

Day 06: Yangzte Cruise (B/L/D)
Sailing through the Yangzte River.

Day 07: Yangzte Cruise (B/L/D)
Arrival in Yichang. Sail through the Gezhou Dam. In the afternoon, visit the Three Gorges Dam, then sail through Three Gorges Dam ship locks.

Day 08: Yangtze Cruise (B/L/D)
Sail through Wu Gorge. Excursion to Daning River Small Gorges.

Day 09: Yangzte Cruise (B/L/D)
Morning shore excursion to Fengdu, visiting either the "Ghost City" on Mingshan Hill, or the new relocation village for families who have moved as result of the Yangtze's rising waters brought about by the Three Gorges Dam.

Day 10: Yangzte Cruise/Chongqing/Guiyang (B/L/D)
Dismark in Chongqing at around 8 am. You will be met and transferred to the airport for your flight to Guiyang. Upon arrival in Guiyang, you will be met and transferred to your hotel for overnight stay. Afternoon visit to Jiuxiu Pavilion - the symbolic building of Guiyang, which enjoys a history of more than 400 years.

Day 11: Guiyang/Kaili (B/L/D)
Today you will take 2.5 hours' car journey to Kaili. Visit Kaili Folk Museum, afternoon visit Gejia people village to see their transitional way of making batik.

Day 12: Kaili/Rongjiang (B/L/D)
In the morning, a short drive from Kaili along the Bala river will take us to Langde Long-skirt Miao village. You will be deeply impressed by its traditional wooden houses. Hike in the village to explore more. Then coach to Datang Short-Skirt Miao village situated at the foot of Leigong Mountain. You will be greeted by its friendly villagers and drink the block way wine before entering the village. A performance will be arranged. In the afternoon, continue our drive via Leigong Mountain to appreciate its mountainous landscape. En route, explore a Shui people village in a deep valley. Some hiking will be arranged to see its gorgeous terraced paddy fields.

Day 13: Rongjiang/Liping/Zhaoxing (B/L/D)
In the morning, explore Dali Dong village which has not been touched by travelers. Afternoon visit to the Dimen Dong village. Family visit will be arranged to explore their daily life. Late afternoon arrive Zhaoxing – the largest Dong village in China which boasts 5 drum towers symbolizing 5 different family clans. Evening performance: Dong People’s Great Song. You will see their festival dresses.

Day 14: Zhaoxing/Congjiang/Rongjiang (B/L/D)
In the morning, explore Zhaoxing Dong village and climb to the top of a small hill to have a panoramic view of five drum towers. A small stream cut this village into 5 sections. Then coach to Tang’an Dong village which is noted as the first ecological museum of Dong people. Afternoon visit Basha Miao village noted for men’s hair dresses and women’s shinning fabric from egg-white. Hike in this primitive village to experience its daily life with very little signs of modern influence.

Day 15: Rongjiang/Sandu/Kaili (B/L/D)
Morning 2.5 hours’ car transfer to Sandu enjoy the gorgeous scenery along Duliu river which is the only autonomous county of Shui people in China. Explore a Shui people village and you will be deeply impressed not only by their quiet life and also its gorgeous terraced fields. En route, visit Miao villages. You will find their wooden house in harmony with the nature. Those Miao people who moved to America and Europe are known as Hmong people. Boji will be the first Miao village to explore. We will experience their daily life by visiting the local families. Meanwhile, you can appreciate Miao people’s typical architecture- Wooden Stilt house. Then drive to Shiqiao to see its traditional way of making paper from the bark of mulberry tree. Then continue our drive to visit Qingman village.

Day 16: Kaili/Guiyang/Kunming (B)
Today take 2.5 hours’ car transfer back to Guiyang for your flight to Kunming. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to the hotel for two nights stay.

Day 17: Kunming (B)
Day at leisure.

Day 18: Kunming/ Baoshan/Liuku (B/L/D)
Morning flight from Kunming to Baoshan (45 min), Baoshan to Liuku by car (160 km, 4 h by car).
Accommodation: 4* Liuku Jinmeng Hotel (Or the same class)

Day 19: Liuku/Gongshan (B/L/D)
Visit Tiger Leaping Rock, Flying Stone, Stone Moon and Nujiang River along the way. Transfer to the hotel for two nights stay.

Day 20: Gongshan/ Bingzhongluo/Gongshan (B/L/D) 
(Round way 100 km, 2 hour)
Full day tour to the First bend of Nujiang River, Flagstone house of locals, Minorities villages of Nu people, Lisu people and Tibetans, and Zhongding Christian Church.

Day 21: Gongshan/Fugong (B/L/D)
(120 km, 4 h by car)
Visit Hanging bridge, high wire across Nujiang River.

Day 22: Fugong/Liuku (B/L/D) 
(120km, 3 h by car) 
Full day visit to Laomudeng Christian Church, Zhiziluo discussed city, public bathing place of local minority.

Day 23: Liuku/Lijiang (B/L/D) 
(8 -9 h by car) 
A gathering place of the Naxi minority, Lijiang Ancient Town is a mountain town of stone and tile, laced with canals and lanes, which has been listed as an UNESCO world monument. Upon arrival, proceed to visit ancient town which is in the form of an official ink stone. Unlike most of the old towns in China, there is no city wall due to a superstitious belief of the local ruler whose family name is Mu (tree), when encircled by walls, would be Kun (besieged). Three nights spend in Lijiang.

Day 24: Lijiang (B/L/D) 
Proceed to Yak Meadow of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Then steeped in the show “Impression Lijiang” performed by 400 locals of 10 ethnic groups and 100 horses in an outdoor theatre against the backdrop of the snow mountain. It was directed by Zhang Yimou, director of the 2008 Olympics Opening & Closing Ceremonies and winner of dozens of world movie prizes. Then visit the Baisha Village with Frescos and the Yuhu Naxi Village with Former Residence of Joseph Rock, the Austro-American botanist and explorer who lived here from 1922 to 1949, introducing innumerable plant species to the West and completing rigorous works on Naxi ethnology.

Day 25: Lijiang (B)
Day at leisure.

Day 26: Lijiang/Beijing via Kunming (B)
Today you will be met and transferred to the airport for your flight to Kunming to catch the flight to Beijing. Upon arrival in Beijing, you will be met and transferred to your hotel for two nights stay.

Day 27: Beijing (B)
Day at leisure.

Day 28: Depart Beijing (B)
Transfer to the airport for the flight to your next destination.
