DOWNSTREAM (3 Nights) Departs Chongqing on Thursday and arrives Yichang on Sunday
Day		Itinerary
Day 1	Chongqing	Settle into your cabins in Chongqing.
Day 2	Fengdu or Shibaozhai (depending on water level)	Explorer the charming river village known as “Ghost city” and noted for its elaborate Taoist temple
Day 3	Qutang Gorge / Wu Gorge / Shennong Stream /Xiling Gorge (passing through the Three Gorges Dam Ship lock)	The ship arrives in Badong and Shennongxi where you will board longboats. Later, sail through the majestic Xiling Gorge passing through the ship locks of the Three Gorges Dam Project.
Day 4	Yichang / The Three Gorges Dam Project	Disembark for your shore excursion to the site of the Three Gorges Dam Project. Depart from Yichang to your next destination.

UPSTREAM (4 Nights) Departs Yichang on Sunday and arrives Chongqing on Thursday
Day		Itinerary
Day 1	Yichang	Settle into your cabins in Yichang.
Day 2	Xiling Gorge (passing through the Three Gorges Dam Ship lock) / The Three Gorges Dam Project	Pass through the ship locks of the Three Gorges Dam Project and after lunch for a shore excursion. In the afternoon pass through Xiling Gorge.
Day 3	Shennong Stream / Wu Gorge / Qutang Gorge	The ship arrives in Badong and Shennongxi where you will board longboats. Later, sail through the last two gorges.
Day 4	Fengdu or Shibaozhai	Explorer the charming river village known as “Ghost city” and noted for its elaborate Taoist temple.
Day 5	Chongqing	This morning the Yangzi Explorer will reach Chongqing where you will disembark.
